History of Christmas Eve


Mainly we the people know that Christmas day is celebrated because on that day Jesus Christ was born. Popular myths put his birth on December 25th in the year 1 CE,but the new testament gives no date of the year for the birth, The myths  of the celebration were started by the Romans, they introduced the holiday of Saturnalia. 

The day Christmas is all about Church service, Gifts giving, family and other social gathering and mainly symbolic decorating. It is prepared for the season of advert or the nativity fast, and initiates the season of Christmas , which history lies is the twelve days and culminates on "Twelth Night" Christmas day is public holiday in many of the world's nation, and is celebrated culturally by large number christian people. 


                                             In several countries celebrating the Christmas eve on December 24 has the main focus rather than December 25, with giving gifts and sharing a traditional  meal with family . Today most Christians celebrate Christmas on the date of  December 25th in the "Gregorian Calendar", however some eastern Churches celebrated Christmas  on the December 25 of the older "Julian Calendar"  which currently corresponds to January 7 in the Gregorian Calendar. This is not disagreement over the date of Christmas as such, but rather a disagreement over which calendar should be used to determine the day that is December 25
The day of Christmas may have initially been chosen to correspond with the day exactly nine months after the day on which early Christians believed that Jesus was conceived, or with one or more ancient polytheistic, festivals that occured near southern solstice. The celebratory customs associated in various countries with Christmas have a mix of pre-christan, Christian and secular themes and origins. Popular modern customs of the holiday include Gift giving. Christmas music and caroling, lighting a christingle an exchange of Christmas cards,Church service special meal and the  display of various Christmas decorations include Christmas trees, Christmas lights , nativity scenes,garlands,wreaths,mistletoe and holly. In addition to the marry making of the global celebration comes some interchangeable figures known as Santa Claus, Father Christmas, Saint Nichole and Christkind are associated with bringing gifts to children during the Christmas season.

Because gifts giving and many other aspects of the Christmas festival involve heightened economics activity, the holiday has became a significant event and a key sales period for retailors and for business . The economic impact of Christmas is a factor that few centuries in many religions of the world though each and every one of us should  also take care of those people who cannot celebrate the eve due to circumstance. These are the saying deeds of Jesus Christ that for the welfarement of the common and the poor people he was hunged on the cross.
